Ride on the roads of the Giro 2023
In 2023, the Haute Route is back in Crans-Montana, and the Giro d'Italia has also been seduced by the authentic Swiss resort town for two of the stages of its 2023 edition. The 13th stage of the Giro will arrive at the top of the resort of Crans Montana, just like the 1st stage of the Haute Route Crans-Montana. The next day, the Giro d'Italia peloton will head back to its homeland from Sierre, the starting point of the last two stages of the Haute Route Crans Montana. Truly allowing you to experience the routes of the pros!
Complete your Bucketlist : col du Sanetsch
The most iconic climb of this 2023 edition of the Haute Route Crans-Montana is certainly the Col du Sanetsch. The Sanetsch is 25 kilometers long and has 1700 meters of ascent. On paper, it has similar characteristics to the most prestigious passes and cols in the world, but it has a major advantage. There is only one road up to the summit, so the pass is rarely used by cars.
It is one of the most popular Swiss passes for cyclists thanks to its wild and splendid nature. Starting in the heart of the vineyards and then traversing dense forests before reaching the large mountain pastures which offer a clear view of the Pennine Alps. It is a climb like no other, and a true bucket list ride!

The barrage de Moiry

The climb is not over yet, but the beautiful turquoise waters will accompany you to the end of the Lac de Moiry. At the summit of the climb at over 2250m, take the time to appreciate the unique landscape overlooking the magnificently high altitude Swiss glaciers.
