An epic course that takes in some of Switzerland's most iconic roads, this 3-day race is a unique challenge. So, if you haven't signed up yet, we're going to give you 5 reasons why you should take this opportunity to explore life in this spectacular corner of the Swiss Alps.

1. Choose a format that suits you

The Haute Route Davos is a 3-day tour, making it the perfect option for cyclists looking for a new adventure in a limited number of days.

Our three-day format offers a long weekend filled with challenging rides and top quality services on and off the bike. With three stages, one town and one hotel, there is no need to travel each day, giving you more time to relax and explore Davos.

In addition, for the Haute Route Davos we also offer the "Compact Format". The ideal starting point for cyclists new to the series, this route allows you to experience the real Haute Route, but with fewer kilometres and less altitude.

Simply choose the format that suits you, focus on the race and our team will take care of the rest!

2. Discover Switzerland's iconic passes and landscapes

From the Haute Route Davos offset, you can expect to discover breathtaking scenery. From lush valleys to Alpine passes, you'll have the opportunity to experience some of the country's best hiking. Located on the eastern side of the Swiss Alps, you will be confronted with the two legendary passes of Albula and Flüela, both of which have hosted a classic stage of the Tour de Suisse.

With over 6,000 metres of climbing, the Haute Route Davos is a route you will never forget. Winding roads and beautifully preserved surroundings reveal hidden gems among the Davos Klosters. Discover lesser-known routes that lead to that magical climb, Fatans - a huge feat with a gradient of over 12%. What makes it all worthwhile? The breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, the perfect time to recharge your batteries.

3. Experience the time trial like a professional

The third and final stage of the Haute Route Davos is a unique time trial that will make you feel like a professional racer. Whether you're looking to beat your personal best or just want to challenge yourself, this stage is the ultimate conclusion to a remarkable weekend.

Halfway along the route, you can see the beautiful "Maria zum Schnee" chapel in Tschuggen. This historic building, built in 1870, is still a well-known place of pilgrimage today. On the way to the Flüela Pass in this 15-kilometre time trial, you will feel like a pro.

4. Take time to explore the town of Davos

Nestled at an altitude of over 1500 metres, Davos is known for hosting the World Economic Forum and for its abundance of winter and summer sports. Only a two-hour drive from Zurich, the Haute Route Davos event is the perfect "long" weekend to bring family and friends.

Take advantage of your free time to explore the town with your loved ones and share a special weekend together. Discover fine restaurants with the long tradition of this high-altitude resort, take a moment to admire the famous Davos Lake. You can also enjoy a train ride on the Glacier Express from Davos to Filisur via the UNESCO Landwasser Viaduct.
